What is the latest from Waterloo?
If you haven’t been recently you may like to know a few updates
- A huge new roundabout is being built at the motorway junction just north of Mont St Jean Farmhouse and the Carrefour adjacent is being redeveloped, it is currently a bit of a mess around here – allow extra time to get to and from the battlefield particularly at rush hour!!
- The Church of St Joseph is currently being given a new roof to protect it for many years to come – Good news!
- The Wellington museum has had a major makeover, which continues – many more rooms previously closed off to the public have been opened up and the displays improved – but this is very much a work still in progress!
- Hot off the press! It is understood that the management of the Visitor centre and associated attractions has been awarded to a new company – a French company!! So let’s see how many statues of Napoleon start appearing again at the battlefield!
